hello again.
Here's to a second blog post! I'm impressed with myself for getting this far. I try to be all tech savvy. and some-how, Im just not. lets hope my techness can improve with time! Flower and nature enthusiasts may enjoy this. I embarked on a floral study in 2011. Inspired much by Robert Mapplethorpe. a photographer famous for his photographs of flowers, and err, some pretty involved nudes. so proceed with caution if your planning to google him. :) haha. But cool flowers non-the-less.
So I shot these guys in studio. black background. nothing fancy. but instead of placing them in a vase, I hung them upside down to keep them from sagging down and keep the stems as straight as possible. they have to stand up straight. and so, I attempted to make a 'flower portrait". these were shot sort of experimentally and over a long period of time. I used a whole lot of different flowers and went out of my way to find some weird and wonderful flowers. 10 buck's if you can name them all correctly. :) haha.
Comments are welcome. lets talk. :) have a great week!
Last question, over sharpened? what do you think? :)

Leuwald Botha Photograhy - The Klipdrift Gold experience [Heli-flip]
Hello everyone.
As you can see this is my first ever blog! ohhh yeeaahh. I am new to this so my layout may not be perfect yet and the photos may be slightly over sharpened (so please let me know if you think they are - I upped the sharpening for web use),or maybe even too small?? But I will get the hang of the whole thing.
If you have some blogging tips for me to make this blog better just drop a comment. Thanks.
and now for the sweet stuff:
On the 14th of December 2011, Klipdrift Gold had an amazing treat for a few lucky Klipdrift drinkers. The day started off at Parc Ferme Restaurant in Sandton where everyone had some drinks and appetisers. 2 Hummer Limos pulled up took the lucky winners for a Helicopter Flip around the whole of Joburg. If memory serves they flew over the Dome in Northgate, Soweto Towers, Soccer Stadiums and other Joburg attractions.
They landed the Helicopters at Hope school and the guests were shuttled to the Westcliff Hotel for a delicious meal and lots of Klipdrift Gold.
Yet again Klipdrift Gold out-did themselves on another 5star event for their loyal clients. I know everyone had a great time!
So there's my first blog down. whoop. stay tuned for more. I'm planning to make it a weekly thing. Once again Please let me know if there's anything that will improve your viewing experience.
Till next time! ;)
